The Church in Davis

I am 15 years old and I live in Davis, California. I was born to parents meeting in the local church and I feel that it is the best place I can be. I have a home wherever there is a local church. I remember when I was on vacation in Texas, I visited the local church in Austin. When I got to the meeting there, I did not recognize the people there, but they were not strangers; I truly felt we were one in spirit. Although I had never been to Austin, I felt comfortable there and experienced a sweet fellowship with the believers there.

For the past couple of years, I have started realizing just how sweet the Lord Jesus really is. Whenever I have troubles, I just turn to Him. He is always waiting for me, no matter what I do. The easiest way to turn is just to call on His name (Romans 10:13). Whenever I call, I get a sense of joy within. Some of the best times in my life have taken place at conferences and summer schools of Bible truth for 6th-12th grade students. There, I exercised my spirit and was filled with His riches. I am just so happy that the Lord lives in my spirit and I can experience Him wherever I am and at any time.
